At Christmas time we keep alive another old tradition – Mumming.
These are folk plays with a handful of characters, a battle between good and evil and a miracle cure.  They are several local variations which were performed in the early part of the 20th century. We started performing them in the 1970s.
We perform the Gower Mummers Play, The Mumbles Mummers Play and the Crwmpyn John play from the Swansea valley.
We usually perform at several pubs in an evening and donate our collection to local charities.
We performed in the following places in winter 2016/17, raising over £960 for Ty Olwen :

Thursday 15th December 2016 – Swansea Valley mumming tour :
